What is the earliest I can check-in?
Check-in is from 2pm. If you need earlier access, please contact reception on 02 6452 1950. We may be able to help.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
It depends on the type of booking. Please check the details as you book on our booking page, or if you have already booked, see the automated booking email. We cannot change or alter third-party bookings like booking.com, so if you have booked via something like booking.com, you will need to contact them directly. If you have any queries, please contact reception on 02 6452 1950.
Are pets allowed?
Not at this point, but as we renovate, we are planning to provide pet-friendly rooms. Please check back or call reception on 02 6452 1950. Service Animals are permitted under law. Please contact reception if bringing a service animal so we can assist you and your dog to have the best experience possible.
Do you have disabled accessible rooms?
Not at this point, and some rooms are only accessible by stairs. However, as we renovate, we will be providing further amenities. Please call reception on 02 6452 1950 to discuss what we have available to suit your needs.
Do you have a restaurant or offer breakfast?
We do not offer food or drink; however, we are only a short stroll to the heart of Cooma. Have a chat with our team at Reception when you arrive, and we can recommend some wonderful places for any meal.
Do you charge extra for payment by card?
Not for Visa, Mastercard or EFTPOS! Amex payments incur a 1.34% surcharge.
Do you offer free WiFi or Foxtel?
Not at the moment, but as we upgrade the hotel, we plan to provide WiFi. If you need WiFi, contact reception on 02 6452 1950 and they can point you to some local free WiFi.
How close are you to the snowfields?
Perisher and Thredbo are 1 hour and 15 minutes from The Swiss Motel Cooma. Selwyn Snow Resort is 1 hour and 20 minutes. Note that traffic can negatively impact driving times. We suggest checking Google Maps or livetraffic.com for up to date traffic and travel time data.
What is there to do if you don’t ski or snowboard?

Do you offer electric vehicle (EV) charging?
Sorry, we do not provide electric car charging facilities onsite at The Swiss Motel Cooma and we do not allow charging from any of our powerpoints.
However, there is a Tesla Charger in the Coles car park, a Chargefox Charging Station at the Snowy Hydro Information Centre, and charging at Snowstop Village at 36 Sharp St (a 4 minute walk from The Swiss Motel).
