We're hard at work to make The Swiss Motel Cooma a comfortable, welcoming, and modern destination for travellers. Our renovation process is well underway, with plenty more to come!

What’s New?

So far we’ve already:

• Installed new modern carpets in most rooms.
• Installed environmentally friendly complimentary toiletry dispensers in every bathroom.
• We're upgrading furniture and putting in new comfortable beds.
• We're repainting rooms.
• We've thrown out all the old linen and brought in high-quality sheets and new blankets to ensure your stay is as warm and comfortable as possible.
• Put in a brand new industrial washing machine to ensure the cleanest wash we can - which required taking out the back wall of the laundry! These things aren't small.
• We've replaced five roofs, with more to come.
• Improved safety and guest experience replacing old rotten woodwork with new hand rails and steps and treads.
• We’re brightening up the place with upgraded lighting and signage to create a more inviting, energy efficient atmosphere throughout the motel.

What’s Next?

We are committed to continuing our renovations, with plans to expand our services and further enhance the guest experience. This will include:

• Refreshed Rooms: We will continue to paint and update furniture in remaining rooms.
• Renovated Bathrooms: We plan to update our bathrooms to make them more modern and functional.
• Brand New Energy Effiienct Hot Water Systems:  To improve water flow and lower our environmental impact.
• New Windows and Doors: To enhance energy efficiency and guest comfort, we’re planning to replace windows and doors as part of our ongoing improvements.
